Glass Etching Elegance on Windows

Etching of glass for many centuries. This method of creating designs and art on glass surfaces using an acidic, corrosive and abrasive materials. In 1650, diamond point engraving was used mirrors to achieve the printed designs. Then, copper-wheel engraving (technique developed in Holland and Germany), which has become a popular cut glass with a copper wheel or disc rotates in the machine (or shaping machines), edge of which is loaded with abrasive powder suspended in oil. In the 1920′s, form the etching process was invented in which the design etched in the form of both art was transferred directly to the glass surface.
